DELMAS – Nomphumelelo ‘Melelo’ Xaba, the renowned 35-year-old gospel star singer hailing from Delmas, has captivated audiences once again with her latest release, a soul-stirring song titled ‘No Greater Love.’
In this moving musical piece, Xaba delves into the profound message of the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, emphasizing His selfless act of laying down His life for humanity’s redemption.
Through her golden voice and heartfelt lyrics, Xaba beautifully encapsulates the essence of Christ’s love and purpose, inviting listeners to reflect on the enduring message of divine love and salvation.
She not just blessed with a golden voice but also blessed with brains. Xaba holds a Masters in science for Agriculture which she obtained in 2023.
She started singing at an early age, from home and Sunday school church. “ From as far as I can remember I use to always sing at home. My earliest memory of singing in public was every time on my way from school I used to sing for a lady at a shop I used to buy sweets from. Then from there sang at school choirs and church choirs and worship teams.”
Her hit song S’thandwa Sami is another reason for her fame and was mostly played on One Gospel channel.
“I sing about a close and personal relationship with Jesus. Where in the song I refer to him as I Sthandwa Sam and hope that the listener will be encouraged to form this same close bond.”
