Well-known entrepreneur and owner of Fofo Security in Mhluzi, Foto Boy Makua (56), is currently under intensive care surveillance at a medical facility following grave injuries sustained in a brutal machete assault.

The incident occurred on Monday night, between 9 and 10 in Mhluzi.

According to a reliable source, the perpetrators arrived in a VW Polo accompanied by a bakkie.

“A contentious exchange led to a physical altercation between Makua and the assailants, culminating in an assault with the panga and the theft of his firearm,” the source said.

“Subsequently, they left the scene with the Polo, leaving the bakkie behind.”

Makua has been admitted in intensive care unit for serious head and back injuries as a result of the attack.

The suspects are still at large, and investigations are currently underway.
