Nomagugu Duma, the secretary, emphasized the organization’s role, “Our nonprofit plays a crucial role in addressing environmental issues in our town. We provide essential resources and services to the community, striving to bring about change among youth struggling with drug addiction.”
Prudence Maepa, an executive member, highlighted the organization’s impact, “This is a significant opportunity to assist Delmas’s community, educating them about various types of drugs. We aim to challenge the normalization of drug addiction and encourage steps towards rehabilitation.”
Community members also voiced their support for the ongoing initiatives. One member noted, “This initiative is commendable as it will help our brothers break free from drugs and seek help. It will decrease the rate of drug use in Delmas.”
