KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga – 28 March 2025 – HCI Resources (Pty) Ltd – Palesa Coal hosted a prestigious award ceremony to honour 22 local businesses that successfully completed its Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme. The event was held at the Kgodwana Cultural Village in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga, celebrating the remarkable achievements of these entrepreneurs.

The Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme is an initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing sustainable small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) within the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality and Region 7 of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. Its core objectives are to promote supply chain diversification, enhance statutory compliance, stimulate economic growth, and create job opportunities.

Participants in the programme received comprehensive support, including tailored business development interventions such as workshops and mentoring sessions. These initiatives were designed to help businesses strengthen their financial and operational capabilities, increase competitiveness, and ensure long-term sustainability by adopting emerging technologies and aligning with industry trends.

The awards ceremony was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the 22 entrepreneurs who completed the programme. Their success reflects their resilience and commitment to growth in a competitive market.
