Hilda Lauze, a 26-year-old beauty hailing from the humble streets of Coronation in Emalahleni, is set to represent South Africa with grace and poise at the upcoming Miss Stellar World 2024 pageant.
Amongst the top 10 finalists, Lauze is determined to make her mark on April 6 in Bloemfontein. With dreams of bringing the prestigious crown back home, she relies on the unwavering support of her community in Emalahleni.
Not just beauty only but with brains, Lauze holds a Diploma in Nursing Science (Community, Midwifery )and Psychiatry.
“I started modelling at a very early age. I decided to enter Miss stellar world south Africa after giving birth to gain Confidence as well as encouraging other fellas that it is still possible to pursue your dreams even after childbirth, it only requires determination, so people must stop using that as an excuse”
“it is not my first time entering pageants, I’ve entered pageants before and won multiple titles such as Ms Emalahleni Queen and Photogenic 2022/23, Miss Pearl of Highveld 2022, Queen Miss Nkangala Photogenic 2021.”she said.
She is also making a change in her community. “Currently I’m doing Campaigns on Cyberbullying as it is a Social Dilemma that most people turn to be ignorant with. Giving motivational talk especially with topic topics that are in line with my career.”
With being tough in the competition, Lauze still believes that she will bring the crown home.
“I must say it is a tough competition and all my fellow competitors have strong potential but because of the strong personality and my dedication I believe I can make it.”
“I edge people vote for me as it will increase my chances of winning and if I happen to win the public choice automatically I will be on the top 5 which is going to represent South Africa in Atlanta Georgia in 2025.”
