BRONKHORSTSPRUIT – Lindiwe Nkutha from Bronkhorstspruit has advanced to the final stages of the Face of Queens with Purpose SA 2024.
The Face of Queens with Purpose SA 2024, established by Thembi Maesela in 2019, honours individuals with disabilities and seeks to empower women aged 20 to 45.
The prestigious finale is scheduled for August 31, 2024, in Sandton, Johannesburg. Nkutha, renowned for her leadership and community engagement, expressed her confidence in her potential to claim the title of the next Face of Queens with Purpose SA 2024.
“Because of my strong morals, hunger for success, and integrity, I am humble, ambitious, creative, community-minded, and transparent,” she said.
On August 16, Nkutha organised a philanthropic event at the Ubunye Centre, showcasing her unwavering dedication to serving her local community.
“This is my way to show love and that I think about them and they’re not alone,” she stated.
A profound and enduring passion for the art of modelling has been the driving force behind Nkutha’s desire to inspire others. Reflecting on her personal journey, she expressed that her ardour for modelling has been a constant companion since her formative years.
“It has always been my dream to motivate and inspire young and old women to become the best versions of themselves,” she said.
“I advocate for self-love and self-discovery, which came after I experienced bullying and body shaming in my teens, a stage where I didn’t feel wanted.”
Nkutha also shared her struggle with stuttering, which caused anxiety and impacted her performance. “I entered the Face of Queens with Purpose SA because I want to continue to communicate my emotions in public… I want to be more confident so that I can impart positive energy to other women.”
She further expressed her aspirations. “I want to see myself as an ambassador, to put a smile on those kids’ lives and those coming after me. I want to continue with this strong advocacy and make it known to my community that disability is not an inability. We are experiencing one of the great moments as a country; our very own Miss South Africa, Mia Leroux, has made her mark. This shows that if we stand together in love and stop being stereotypical, change will come,” she said.
