EMALAHLENI – Leandra United FC, the ambitious football club based in Ackerville, Emalahleni, is on the hunt for new talent to bolster its ranks as it prepares for the Mpumalanga Sasol League. “The team is looking for 12 skilled players to join our assessment and potentially become part of this exciting journey,” said team chairperson and coach Bongani Mnguni.

Mnguni, a 30-year-old football enthusiast, has been at the helm of Leandra United FC since 2022. His leadership and vision have propelled the team to new heights, culminating in their entry into the prestigious Mpumalanga Sasol League. Now, he aims to further strengthen the squad by bringing in top-tier talent.

Leandra United FC is organizing a player assessment to select the best candidates for the following positions: 1 goalkeeper, 2 center backs, 2 central defensive midfielders, 2 strikers, a right winger, 2 right backs, and 2 left backs. “The assessment is open to players of all ages. Interested individuals must provide a valid ID or passport. For those coming from outside Witbank, accommodation will be made available, ensuring that distance is no barrier for talented players wishing to seize this opportunity,” Mnguni said.

Aspiring footballers who meet the criteria and are eager to showcase their skills can contact Mnguni directly. To join the assessment and potentially become a part of Leandra United FC, reach out via phone at 082 291 9295 or email at princemnguni57@gmail.com.
