EMALAHLENI – Sport Wrap Academy is focused on offering top-tier training and exposure, with the aim of nurturing a strong pool of skilled youngsters ready for success in the football world. From clashes with renowned academies such as Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United, and Augusto Palacios, the academy is no stranger to high-level competition.

The emphasis lies not only on honing football skills but also instilling values of sportsmanship and personal development in young Emalahleni footballers. Coach Trevor Dube highlights the academy’s broader mission: “It’s all about helping the face of football in Emalahleni as a whole,” he stated.

Beyond producing skilled players, the academy prioritizes the holistic growth of its participants, nurturing both their athletic and personal development. Integral to the academy’s success is the unwavering support of parents, who actively participate in training sessions to ensure their children receive the best possible guidance. Registration remains open for aspiring young footballers as young as five years old, with training sessions held at Lynville Stadium every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Sport Wrap Academy’s affiliation with the SAFA league provides a structured platform for the youngsters to showcase their talents and further develop their skills. With a long-term vision in mind, Coach Dube outlines a five-year plan, emphasizing periodic evaluation and adaptation to ensure continued progress.

In its third year of operation and with a CAF C license in hand, Sport Wrap Academy continues to thrive, shaping young football talents in Emalahleni. “We kicked off in 2021, our third season running now. No pressure,” Dube announced.
